Marstal No. 31 is a Danish Gin, concieved in a flat in Marstalsgade 31 in Copenhagen, by Lasse Christiansen.
After a lot of testing, sampling and adjusting, it was finially ready for production and the destillery selected for the job, was Nordisk Brænderi in northern Denmark, in the most beautiful nature and close to the ocean.
Marstal No. 31 is made on a copper boiler from Müller Brennereianlagen, in batches of only 50 bottes at a time - so truely small batch.
The botanicals most prominent in this Gin, is orange zest, coriander seeds, cardamom, angelica root, cinnamon and licorice as well as juniper.
The Gin is really nice if you have it neat, or as a GT with a Indian Tonic.
